Looking for a caregiver for our Adult family member with Autism in Buzzards Bay. Primary qualifications include curious attitude and ability to learn, as well as physically fit and natural leader. Walking 2-3 miles per day is primary sensory activity. Needs help with daily living and safety. We use cooperation and interdependence in skill development and look for opportunities to teach and encourage. Live on private beach and lead a very active lifestyle. Training and guidance is provided until everyone is comfortable with ques and routines. He is 26 with nonverbal autism and very happy and active. He prefers fun loving and goofy caregivers. His ability to cooperate and be happy is a strength. He has several jobs on his family farm and has many self care skills. Bo requires 1:1 all day. Days and times needed are very flexible!
