We are looking for a Seattle/Eastside loving couple to provide a home for our developmentally disabled son. Michael is nonverbal, 90 pounds and 5 feet tall. Requires assistance with walking, eating, toileting, bathing, and dressing. While he looks 24 he is 42 and healthy. Michael is a sweet soul who enjoys energetic people who are loving. He has been nourished with love from his family, friends, and many wonderful caregivers, which accounts for his sweetness and joy when cuddling, having a meal, swimming, or riding in a car. Weekdays M takes the Access bus to a day program - 9:30 A-4P. An "outside of home" job is ok for one partner, the other has primary responsibility M is both endearing and a blessing. A special couple could earn $85, 000, health benefits, and rental income. While this is significant so to is the enduring care required.
