About who needs care: I would just need someone to visit on an ad-hoc basis, i. e. when we go on vacation, or when we need to be away for a full day. He can get himself around to the bathroom and such but does not make himself meals. His pills are set up and organized and would just need someone to hand him the container to take them. Maybe visit for a short while twice per day. Make sure he's okay. About the care needs: Someone friendly and not patronizing to my dad, he still has his wits about him. Someone who would trust the routines I have set up with him and not try to force me or him into something different. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
