We want to find someone (or a couple of people) to be a friend to my dad (who has dementia). My husband works from home, and I'm a stay-at-home mom who is in and out w/our teenage kids. My dad won't want to be followed around, so anyone coming in should be his friend and willing to stop and talk with him, go for a walk, help w/a puzzle, help him shower & get dressed, prepare meals, or leave him alone. When not w/him, you'd help w/the house, cooking, and walking our 2 large dogs. Being able to play the piano or cook vegan meals is a huge bonus. We are looking for a kind person who will become a family friend and help with anything we need when my dad is napping or wants to be left alone.
