About who needs care: The help is for both my parents although more for my mother than my father. My mother has mild dementia, incontinence (wears poise pads) and my father have vision issues and mild cognitive decline. In addition, my parents have a cat in the home. Help preparing simple breakfast, med reminders, clean up Light housekeeping such as changing sheets, emptying trash Prepare lunch - sandwiches, soup, etc, clean up Afternoon activities, walks on nice days, looking at photo albums, assist with stereo so my father can listen to music Cook dinner from recipes, groceries are purchased. Serve dinner, med reminders, clean up. About the care needs: Someone warm and friendly with a sense of humor. Someone open to cooking from recipes. Open minded, flexible, i. e. willing to adjust to the changing needs of aging people. Able to think on her feet. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
