About who needs care: My nephew has multiple sclerosis. He will be visiting his relatives in the DC area for approximately 3 weeks. He will be staying in a single family house where his brother and cousin live. However, they work during the day on weekdays. Therefore, we need to get him some help while they are working. He usually gets up around 10 a.m. and can get himself out of bed and into the scooter he uses to get around the house. He will need help with preparing food and taking a shower during the day (about 3 times per week). About the care needs: Someone familiar with assisting a person confined to a wheel chair/mobility scooter. Able to help them take a shower. Understanding and caring personality. Be able to carry on a conversation about sports and current affairs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
