My Father is 82 years old with Parkinson. He lives with us and is pretty self sufficient though he is reliant on us for meals and transportation. With the trajectory of his disease it would be good to establish a long-term relationship with a caretaker who can step in and assist on occasion when we are away or unavailable. I believe he would benefit from a regularly scheduled visit from someone who can help him with basic housekeeping and personal care as his ability to do many tasks becomes increasingly limited. Someone willing to assist in physical therapy exercises would be ideal. Our first priority at this point is finding someone who could do daily welfare checks and bring meals when we are not around.
