Help needed for my mother in her 70s - seeking part-time companion care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. My mom suffered a near death stroke on November 1, 2023 and has made a miraculous recovery thus far, but still has not regained walking but uses a wheelchair. She asked that we get her to Carolina beach for her ongoing recovery so we are wanting to make that happen, but we know we need help in order to do so. Our biggest hurdle has to do with her personal care, toileting and showering; otherwise she is pretty easy for us, as a family, to manage her transitions from wheelchair to chair, etc. We will be renting a home from May 18-June 9 in Carolina Beach.
