About who needs care: My father has dementia. My mother needs help with things like bathing/shower, keeping him active, socializing, light house keeping. Just a few breaks throughout the week where she can have some alone time & time to regroup. His hobbies are really anything outdoors, walking, tractors, fire trucks. Dad is easy going, likes to help with whatever & just talk. About the care needs: Someone with a good personality that is familiar with dementia patients. Dad is in the mid stages. Mom is struggling with denial, doesn't understand why he isn't getting better, and very angry about it happening. She is struggling but managing but it's too much for her to handle on her own. I unfortunately live out of state. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
