Experience caring for others and housekeeping is preferred. Must have patience and good communication skills. The ability to provide companionship by discussing care management needs with the client and upon request assist in making calls to find resources, care providers, and schedule appointments. You will be responsible to provide complete housekeeping for 1 bed, 1 bath unit. Some of the tasks include mopping, dishwashing, emptying trash, light gardening, laundry, dusting, sanitization and cleaning, home organization, bed making, and sometimes cooking. Basic household errands and transportation to and from occasional med appointments. Knowledge of physical therapy to relieve pain for clients back injury are a plus. Assist client with application of therapy, such as: alternating ice packs and heating pad, etc.
