My dad has terminal peritoneal cancer. We expect he has just a couple months left to live. We are looking for someone to come out and help with his day-to-day care. Right now, he can shuffle between rooms. He uses the bathroom on his own, but we expect he'll soon need help with that. We also need someone who can help my mom with chores and errands. She is feeling very overwhelmed by all of this. My dad is 77 years old and a former accountant. He is originally from the San Francisco area and is a huge 49er and SF Giants fan. Lately, his days are mostly filled watching golf and NCIS and watering his lawn if he can get to it. He can be stubborn and likes to tell stories. He has no memory issues. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
