I a male care giver and types of care gigs I would want, would be like what I've already done. I take care of a lady with cerebral palsy who is bed and wheelchair bound and I move her between her bed and wheelchair with a Hoyer lift. Also, I change her diaper, change her bed sore bandages, cook for her, do grocery shopping for her, wash the dishes and be her companion for the two 4 hour periods per day that I'm with her. I also have a HIV positive male client who I take to doctor's appointments, do laundry, change bed sheets and pillow cases, shop for groceries, vacuum and mop the apartment floors, clean working surfaces in kitchen and bathroom.
