Kids At Heart Daycare

Jennifer Hatton, at Kids at Heart Daycare, helps children learn and develop by providing a loving, safe, and comfortable environment for children in a home setting. The children follow a flexible daily routine of planned activities, with unstructuredtime built in for creativity, imagination, and play. She believes it's important to support the child's learning using the interests of the child.<br/><br/>The Creative Curriculum, by Teaching Strategies, is used to plan and support children in early learning. Jennifer tailors her preschool program to meet the needs of every child. Gold Assessments are provided biannually. This provides information necessary to plan individual learning goals. Parents are encouraged to provide feedback on both for a partnered approach to teaching.<br/><br/>Jennifer Hatton has been awarded a national Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential from the Council of Professional Recognition in Washington, DC in recognition of outstanding work with young children and has been awarded 4 out of 4 Stars in the Parent Aware Rating system.<br/><br/>Kids at Heart Daycare is a participant with the Provider's Choice food program.
