The Child Care & Learning Center is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization serving families in Rappahannock County since 1976. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), CCLC provides high-quality early childhood programs using a comprehensive, evidenced-based curriculum and assessment system. One of the first early childhood programs in Virginia to become nationally accredited (1988), CCLC has maintained its accreditation for the past 30 years. Our current programs, including infant, toddler, preschool, after school care and summer camps are based on the latest cognitive development research that supports active learning and building social-emotional skills. All CCLC programs and practices are intentionally designed to foster strong reciprocal relations with families.
