Amazing Athletes is the premier, sports-based enrichment program in the country, looking to grow its' franchise in the Spartanburg and Greenville County, South Carolina. Originating in California, Amazing Athletes offers employees flexible schedules, a pathway for growth and development and a chance to work with and inspire youth.
As an Assistant Coach, you will be responsible for interacting with children ranging from 3-12 years in multiple sports in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our coaches will begin with training in the Amazing Athletes methods, assisting current coaches in classes, helping with class set-up and paperwork distribution, executing demonstrations in various childcare centers in the territory, enrolling students and looking to consistently grow classes, in order to help you transition into a lead coach role.
We are looking to add qualified, experienced, early-childhood teachers and coaches to join our program and be the face of the company! Our vision is to continue creating a unique and positive culture that thrives on excitement, encouragement, development, and teamwork. Our Coaches are passionate about developing an athlete's confidence, and conveying the importance of teamwork while inspiring active play and fitness.
Hours and Pay:
- Candidate will be an independent contractor who can expect to work roughly 15-20 hours per week and make around $250/week.
- Must be available Monday-Friday 9:00 - 11:00 am & 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
- Summer program, hours will increase.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with children 3 - 12 years old (professional experience is preferred but all experiences will be considered)
- Experience playing sports and/or coaching children
- Must have dependable transportation and be willing to travel to different locations around Greenville and/or Spartanburg County
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- CPR certification is a plus
- Submit to and have a clean criminal background check
- Will need to maintain good relationship with daycare teachers/directors and parents.
- Available to start immediately
