Out of all the other options I am qualified for (housekeeping, babysitting, etc.), special needs is where my heart is. Growing up, I was around my uncle (10 years older) with Down's syndrome almost everyday. I began going to special needs events at a very young age, and grew up not realizing they were "different". Now I am 26, I have been a main companion and helper to a little girl with Down's. I am gentle and caring. I enjoy learning from who I am around, and God gave us a real blessing when he created "special" people.
