After college I spent almost 2 years working in an ABA center providing 1:1 therapy to children ages 2-18 who had ASD. I decided to move on from that career because all of the ABA centers were in the city which was a far drive for me every day. Now I work as an assistant teacher at a developmental preschool. My passion is definitely working with children with special needs, though I absolutely adore working with any child. I feel I am more patient than most people and that's a great asset when working with special needs. I am creative and energetic, and am always looking to help children achieve skills that will help them live their life in a more rewarding way.
