I have over 6 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 18 years old. I worked in a daycare for 6 years with all ages and ran the center for a year. I then worked in a private special education school where I was a teaching assistant for the middle school age. I have experience working mainly with children who have Autism, Down syndrome, seizure disorders and intellectual disabilities. I was responsible for assisting with curriculum, bathroom assistance and hygiene assistance, feeding, transitions, data taking, etc. I have worked with kids since I was 16 and have a passion working with them at all ages. I have a degree in Psychology and am going back to school for Nursing in hopes of working in a children's hospital one day.
