Hi! I have a very good amount of experience with special needs. I have worked with many children, aged 2-20 with autism and have absolutely loved interacting with the children and young adults who have had it. I am knowledgeable about cerebral palsy and many other health conditions including diabetes, too. If I do not know of the disability/health condition, I would be more than happy to learn. I personally, had a central line at a point along with a G-tube for a few years as I had an extremely rare gastrointestinal syndrome. It was cured 2 years ago through a surgery, which I have recovered amazingly well since from and am free of all medical devices and also haven't needed medical intervention. With what I have been through, I am very compassionate towards those with health conditions. The people in the hospital who went out of their way to form non-medical feeling relationships with me when I was sick, encouraged me to do the same for others when I became able to.
