I have experience with working with special needs kids because I have a brother with special needs. He is 22. At a young age I was always involved in working with special need program my brother participated in. One being AYSO soccer. This program had a team for children with special needs kids & I had the best time being an assistant coach/ volunteer. I did this throughout high school up until now. I also worked with the San Mateo County District as a volunteer in the special needs division classroom. I would socialize with these kids and make them feel no different than those without special needs. We would paint, do crafts, cook, & dance.
