I taught a class for students with special needs for several years. My students had severe and profound intellectual disabilities. Some of them had seizure disorders, asthma, and autism. We learned our academic subjects and our IEP goals with fun and educational activities, field trips, and games. I also tube-fed some of the students. I enjoyed teaching and would like to continue working with children with special needs. I have American Red Cross First aid certification.
