I'm very interested in working with youth with intellectual, physical, and/or mental illness and am interested in social work, nursing, or special education as a future career! As a marathoner and Appalachian Trail thru hiker, I am also interested in advocating for parks and places of recreation to be more disability friendly. I've worked with adults/youth with Spina Bifida, Autism, Down Syndrome, various mental illnesses, and children affected by parent's cancer. My roles have included 1:1 aide, camp counselor, case manager, and job coach. I'm interested in helping those with special needs become more independent and confident as they work on goals.
