I have not had job experience caring for those with special needs, although my mother has worked at the Washburn School District as a special education teacher specializing in emotional behavior disorder and autism. Through the years that she has been teaching I have volunteered my time tutoring some of the students and with this experience I have learned so much about children with special needs. I'm also currently attending the University of North Dakota and majoring in Communication of Sciences and Disorders to hopefully get my masters in Speech Pathology. I would love to start caring for those with special needs to gain more experience and knowledge.
