I have worked with ages from 1-13 with down's syndrome, autism, non-verbal children who aren't yet diagnosed, ect. I don't find working with them difficult I feel they just need a different level of patience to work with that I have. I use games, redirection, music therapy (if not over stimulated) by so and talks to soothe the child/ adult. I can provide references as well.
