I am a high school Special Education teacher and have been working with individuals with special needs for years now. I started volunteering with children with special needs in 2014 during my time as an undergraduate student--I worked with these children on a weekly basis for 10 months each year. That experience led me to pursue my Master's Degree in special education because I am passionate about students of all backgrounds receiving a high-quality educational experience. I am in my second year of teaching special education, and I absolutely love it and can't imagine myself anywhere else.
