I have years of working with children with all issues. I have found that I am gifted with ASD students, though I am still learning. My educational background focused in animal based behavioral neuroscience's. What I have learned after years of working with not only my own children but countless others is that we are all animals. Mostly recently, I began substitute teaching in the Eaton County Area. I have recently been made aware of the crisis our education system is in. Many teachers have their hands tied, unable to give certain children the attention they desire. Gifted children are being lost to a broken system. This breaks my heart. When it came to my own child, who had been acting out in school, I made a choice to change and its made all the difference. I am branching out to try to help those who need something new to help their child.
