I'm Rachel- I look forward to meeting your family! I would love to come alongside you as a parent, helping your child(ren) feel seen and known... and have some fun while we're at it! I am dedicated, interested, responsible and silly. I have been caring for children for over 25 years. I have two of my own, now ages 20 and 14. I am comfortable with various ages and abilities, including those with special needs. I am happy to prepare meals and do light housekeeping, as well. I served as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Aurora Public Schools and as a volunteer consultant for the brain injury team. I also worked as a supervisor in a childcare setting for four years and on staff in children's ministry for over six years. I left my job in the medical day treatment program at Children's hospital for a more administrative role so Care. com allows me to keep working with kiddos! They are my passion and a joy!
