A little bit about myself: I love my family. I have a 6-year-old son! I enjoy the outdoors/nature, art/crafting and exercising. I have a passion for health, wellness and learning about Life. I have some college experience in Special Education, a lot of experience in direct residential home care and 10+ years experience working with children. I enjoy encouraging others and believe it is a Blessing to be a part of a child's upbringing. I have the most experience working with children with special needs/autism. When I am on the job, I believe that being kind and honest goes a long way. Some of my strengths are that I am caring, attentive to detail and down to earth/fun-loving. I was a long-term substitute teacher at Destin elementary, where I taught art and helped in the special education classroom. I have a passion for working with children & love helping others. I encourage children to focus on their strengths& promote independence in the lives of the individuals that I assist.
