Hello, I started my training in Milwaukee, Wi. at Marian Franciscan nursing home as a CNA, and from there I acquired a sense for special needs they seem to be drawn to me and I to them so I worked with clients who had Dementia, Alzheimer's and with other disorders until my late 20s then I became a Medical Tech. From there a physical therapist. Then my career took me to the younger group where I saw a need for parents of children with special needs in need of care. I have been the one who cared for my nephew with autism, and one with down syndrome and so I went to MATC trained in child-rearing, and early childhood education and received my associate degree during that time I had children who were diabetics, epileptic, and I also had so many wonderful loving experiences with so many children with so many differences that makes us all so wonderfully amazing. So with all that said I am confident in caring for others and trained in an array of developmental needs.
