I have many years of working with special needs individuals, I currently work at Sanford Medical Center and have been employed there for there for the last 22 years. I worked 17 years of that in the hospital as a CNA/sitter, so I took care of numerous patients with special needs. I was also a guardian to my aunt who had special needs ( she passed away 4 years ago) I would go to the group home she lived at and take her on outings, spend time enjoying each other company. I also took care of her medical and financials needs. I worked at Senior Care and Comfort Keepers which I got the pleasure of taking care of a young college age girl with a spinal cord injury I truly enjoyed being her caregiver, we formed a close bond and become friends. Some of my qualities are that I am very compassionate, a good listener, reliable, trustworthy, hard worker and I stay calm in stressful situations.
