I have helped my mother out her entire life because of her challenges with her knees. She had knee surgery a little over a year ago and she needed help with all daily task such as cleaning bandages, getting out of bed, help with showering, as well as meal prep. My grandfather also has dementia and I helped with him almost everyday when I lived in Michigan. He's needs varied with showering, using the restroom, getting up and down stairs, feeding and also daily walks to keep him moving.
