Hello! I have my bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Special Education I have 10 years of experience caring for kids of all ages and abilities in various aspects such as in a classroom, as a nanny, as a caregiver, and as a camp counselor. I have been a nanny/caregiver for multiple kids with special needs and most recently served on staff at a camp caring for kids and adults with disabilities. I have with a wide range of experience working with diagnoses such as Autism, down syndrome, seizure disorders, ADHD, food allergies, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol syndrome and more. I am CPR and First Aid certified and also have received additional training while of Staff at a camp such as ADL training, Wheelchair training (how to properly handle transfers and care for people in wheel chairs), and medical training ( how to handle seizures, basic first aid care, how to handle allergic reactions, and how to use a feeding/g-tube).
