I have been fortunate to secure employment through Care. com with three families whose needs have been varied and unique. Most recently I was employed by two 2 seniors from the West Hartford area. My duties included the following: schedule and provide transportation to all medical appointments; assist with medication compliance; connect to and provide transportation to senior activities; grocery shopping, banking; assistance with paperwork, bill paying and other general errands as needed. I'm also able to do meal preparation and light housekeeping. I live in Simsbury and enjoy gardening, walking and being with my family. Growing up, my family owned a nursing home and I have many fond memories of spending time there. Working with the elderly comes naturally to me and I find the work incredibly rewarding.
