Hello, my name is Mia. I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, and I will be graduating with my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in the spring. In the past four years, I have taken numerous courses addressing child and adult development. I have experience working with individuals who have had a stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injury, as well as children who have cerebral palsy and autism. I also have experience working with adults who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and dementia. When working with these individuals, I would assist them in completing their activities of daily living / self-care, as well as any leisure activities they wished to participate in. I am very passionate about ensuring not only the safety and independence of those living with special needs, but their happiness as well!
