Hi My name is Melissa (Mel) and I just moved to the area at the beginning of the month. I lived in Albuquerque NM, where I was a private caregiver for over 7 years to a man who has ALS and his father who had Parkinson's. Although I worked fulltime with them I also took on other clients in need of home care. My last being with a 78-year-old woman who had the beginning stages of dementia. My duties included everything from shopping, giving meds, house cleaning, dressing to cooking. Before working for the elderly I worked as an EMT on an ambulance and also a pharmacy techinician. I have over 15 years of expierence in the medical field and feel I'm very knowledgeable and comfortable with all aspects. I'm currently looking for a part time (maybe a couple days a week?)opportunity to take on another private home care client. I
