In November of 2015 I began working as a home health aide for Ohio-At-Home Healthcare Agency, an agency that offers home care to those with developmental disabilities. During my time here, I have become very comfortable working with those with disabilities. I am also now very passionate about disability rights and expanding independence. It is my opinion that care giving for special needs should be about improving quality of life, not simply completing tasks.
