I'm a 23-year-old college grad, Equinox personal trainer. I've babysat since I was 15 which was also my first work with the special needs community, babysitting a boy with autism. I was with him and his family until I graduated high school and have babysat other families with kids from ages 2 to 13. I've been volunteering with people with special needs since I was 16 starting at GiGi's Playhouse for those with Down syndrome and I worked at an overnight camp for all people of all ages with developmental and physical disabilities. From this work, I have experience with behavioral challenges, lifting and transferring, G tubes and feedings, seizures, hygiene assistance including toileting and showering, etc. I have always loved working with kids and am looking to get back to it.
