I am a former special education teacher with 10+ years of experience helping students with special needs. I have experience teaching students with physical, developmental, behavioral, & emotional needs. I am certified in trauma-informed teaching & social-emotional learning strategies. I specialize in Neurodiverse learners, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory/Visual/Auditory Processing, & Behavioral needs. I focus on high-interest topics & material relevant to students & the world around them. This helps the student become more interested & engaged in what they are doing & can even make the work fun! My lessons use a very hands-on, multi-sensory approach. I work to make learning a fun experience for students of all ages. I incorporate creativity, art, music, & movement into learning, so skills are reinforced in a variety of interesting ways. I am flexible regarding hours & availability outside of what is posted. Part-Time & Full-Time scheduling is available.
