I am currently a medical student and am CPR and First Aid trained. I previously worked as a babysitter for some families casually. My previous job was for a charity called Mencap where I took care of 4 individuals with special needs. my role included handling and administration of medication both by mouth and PEG tube, administering insulin, personal care (showing , continence, etc) , feeding , light cleaning as well as cooking balanced meals. With this job I was able to gain experience dealing with epilepsy, diabetes, Rett Syndrome, and non verbal patients. I take pride in making the people I take care of happy. I love organising activities that kids or adults can enjoy while I take care of them . I would like my presence to feel like a friend or addition to the family rather than strictly professional or formal.
