I am interested in working with people with disabilities and am currently a sophomore in college looking to gain experience over the summer in this field. I recently submitted my completed application to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities to become an independent provider. I have enjoyed babysitting for the last 3 years for multiple families. And although none of these involved a child with special needs, I have a strong relationship with my adult cousin who has severe cerebral palsy. I also worked two summers with a local theatre group helping people with and without disabilities. I am a quick learner and am currently on the Dean's List at Miami University
