A little bit about myself: I am currently an undergrad student at the University of Kansas majoring in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Analysis with a concentration in Early Childhood Autism Intervention. When not at school in Kansas, I live at home in La Grange with my parents and three younger siblings working as a full-time summer nanny for a local family. I have about six years of paid childcare experience and work a part-time job as a childcare assistant in the Applied Behavior Analysis preschool on campus when at school. Additionally, I spend about 15/hrs each week working 1:1 with a student in the ABA early intervention program working on skill acquisition and reducing problem behavior. I am also in the process of getting my Registered Behavior Technician license. I will be fully licensed with that in June sometime. This will allow me to work for an ABA agency and directly implement the client s treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
