Caring for special needs is my biggest passion in life. I have several years of experience with many different disabilities. I was a nanny for a 5-year-old girl with autism. It was the most rewarding experience. I was in every peer tutoring program in high school which allowed me to travel with them to the Special Olympics in Stillwater. I was a nanny for a 3-year-old with epilepsy and kept documentation on her daily activity. I love everything about these jobs. I went to OCCC for 2 years but decided to go into cosmetology. I am currently a mentor for a 15-year-old who has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
