I have a lot of experience with kids and adults with disabilities. I started working with kids with autism at 17 years old, I started to grow a passion to get to know kids/teens with disabilities since we found out my brother is in the spectrum. I wanted to learn, and become familiar with things my family and I were probably going to experience at home. I wanted to get more prepared for different occasions or moods. I have worked with kids with Down syndrome as well and it was great. I learned a lot and very helpful information. I am currently working with adults with disabilities and I really enjoy my job. It is a very rewarding job. I have helped with showering, feeding, making sure homework is done, medications when needed, diaper changing. I also help with meal prepping and making sure their day to day life is as smooth as possible.
