Hey there! My name is Leah, and I'm a 27-year-old grad student looking for part time work Fridays-Mondays. My experience working in child care is robust, and I have specific experience working with children with Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a range of behavioral challenges. Recently, I held a position as a Teaching Assistant at the Walker School in Needham. There, I worked with students aged 6-9 with unique behavioral challenges. I was trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, and worked specifically with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also worked in the Down syndrome program at Mass General for over two years. Through my social work education and time at Walker, I've learned to work with kids in a way that promotes healthy social and emotional development at all ages. I'm reliable, and good in emergency situations. I've always had a great passion for working with kids, and love being around them, especially the little ones.
