I have spent the past 15 plus years fine tuning my career with individuals with special needs. In that time I have worked with many different individuals requiring many different levels of care from total care to drop in support. I have learned a number of techniques along the way. I know everyone is different especially with special needs and that is what makes every day with these individuals worth it because you learn something new everyday. I think everyone could learn something from them because their drive and Joyfulness is contagious! I currently spend my days working in the special education department at a local high school helping school-age individuals manage their daily learning task and the socialism of the school day also. This opportunity has offered a wide range of new techniques.
