Latavia worked with my special needs daughter for nearly 6 months. She was dependable and got close to our family. She introduced our daughter to another child she takes care of and my daughter was very fond of him as well. She committed to work on a Sunday. Out of nowhere she totally blew us off. I had to cancel a planned event because I had no coverage. We were confused, wondering if she was okay or if something happened to her She did not have the common decency to cancel or give me any explanation. She won't take calls. She finally answered us after we texted her from a different number. When she realized who it was she told us to stop trying to contact her and that's all she said. Very unprofessional!! And now my daughter who grew attached to her and doesn't understand the situation is left wondering where she went and continuously asking for her. Bottom line is: at least have the courtesy to communicate and let us know you would like to quit. It's no problem, however randomly deciding to not pick up calls, texts, or emails and "ghosting" us is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate!!! (Especially to the special needs community)
