Hello, my name is Lara! I have 12 years experience in the mental health field. I have worked in two day programs for adults with special needs. I have worked in group homes and then now I do private care. I am CPI certified , CPR certified as well. I wanted to work in this field ever since I was a kid. I have a family member with mental health issues. I always wanted to work in this field so I can learn to help her when she's having a hard time. I really enjoy helping people and teaching someone skills that would benefit them and make their life's easier. I worked with clients with Autism down syndrome cerebral palsy Angelman Syndrome various wheel chair clients bipolar distorter schizophrenia OCD PTSD and many more people called me the individual whisperer , they called me that because I could figure out what they needed , and could communicate better than anyone working .
