I have over 19 years of experience working with children with disabilities. I worked for the Center for Discovery in Harris NY off and on for over 16 years. I worked as a Residential Advisor and then as a supervisor. When I moved to PA I worked for the Scranton Counseling Center as a Therapeutic Support Staff with children with autism, implementing the Discrete Trial Implementation. Four years ago my oldest son was diagnosed with autism. When my youngest son was 6 months old I noticed similar behaviors with him and enrolled him into the Early Intervention Program. I am passionate because anything I do for one child with autism I am committed to doing for every child with autism. I need to make sure that the world is a safe, loving educational place for children with autism so that they can reach their maximum potential.
