I have worked with individuals with special needs since my freshman year of high school, and I am now a sophomore in college. I am studying Health and Exercise Science with the plan of becoming an Occupational Therapist to work with people who have special needs. I have volunteered for year at respite care centers as well. I also do extended stay's with an individual with down syndrome. I also took care of a friend who has Down Syndrome and Autism over the summer. I have also taken care of a 3-month-old baby that has developmental delays while if Fort Collins. I would love to help out over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Summer breaks when home in Colorado Springs/Monument.
