I have been working with children for over 20 years. It began with babysitting at age 10 & grew into a successful network of families that kept me busy all through high school. In college, I volunteered at an elementary school running math intervention programs. I also spent a summer in Africa teaching preschoolers, teens, and young adults. Since then, I have 10+ years experience working with neurodiverse students. I worked 1-1 providing cognitive therapy for individuals with learning difficulties & other developmental challenges. For the past 8 years, I worked privately with a family, caring for & supporting the children's diverse developmental needs. This included behavioral, social & emotional support. My experience includes those on the Autism spectrum & add/adhd. Most recently, I have become certified to provide yoga to neurodivergent children & teens. The customized lessons include a variety of yoga poses, breath work, regulation & mindfulness practice.
